 If you are absent without notification for one full week (both Tuesday AND Thursday), you will be dropped from the class to make room for other students on the waiting list.

21. Student Rules and Procedures
Children- Please leave children at home. It is a violation of NMUSD Adult School Policy to have children on campus during class time. Some daytime programs may have Infant/Toddler Programs; please follow site policy.
Trash- Eat in designated areas only. All food wrappings, cups, and trash go into the OUTSIDE trash cans. DO NOT litter or drop your trash in planters or in the parking lot.

Attendance- Arrive to class promptly and attend all classes. The more time you spend in the classroom, the more successful you will be in your learning
Absences- If you are absent for a full week without notifying your teacher or the office, you will be dropped from the class. If you plan to be absent, tell your teacher to prevent from being dropped.
Cell Phones- Turn off cell phones or set them to vibrate.

Gum Chewing- There will be NO GUM CHEWING allowed on any Adult Education campus. Teachers will enforce this District-wide policy.
Respect- We expect students to show their respect to their teachers and classmates at all times. Students may be asked to leave if conduct is inappropriate and/or disruptive.
Loitering- There will be no loitering outside classrooms during class. Relatives or friends need to wait for you in their cars or off campus.
Emergencies- You can be reached during class by calling the office.
Smoking- There is NO SMOKING anywhere on school grounds or in school buildings.
