2 Challenge, needs What is the business challenge your product offers a solution to? Describe the pains/costs of not using your solution. Add information about the market and the potential of the product to create a clear picture of the business opportunity at hand.

3 Solution (Approach) Please provide a general description of the solution (product & possible services). Omit unnecessary details. Specify the customer benefit. Include economic facts, if possible. Add another slide to this section, if necessary. Do not under any circumstances add more than one slide.

4 Why our solution is better (Benefits) Describe the innovation/technology behind the solution. In particular, describe the competitive advantage that makes your solution unique. Include information about IPRs, if applicable, and possible measures for protecting them.

5 Markets, competition (Competition) Describe the competitive situation. Who are your competitors? How will you stand out from the competition? You can also use the “key success factor - competitor” model.

6 Business model Describe your earnings model, i.e., how you are going to make money with your solution. How much and when?

7 Marketing & sales What is your marketing strategy? How are you going to sell your solution? Include information about sales channels (personal sales work, partners, etc.). You can also write about distribution and after sales.

8 Team Describe your current team. Do they have the skills and resources required to realize your plan? If you are outsourcing some of your operations, include information about your partners. What is your dream team like? What kind of new team members and partners will you hire if you get the funding?

9 Action plan & milestones Alternatively: If your solution has significant development potential, you may want to share the next steps and follow-up development here.

10 Current state & scheduling Describe the degree to which the plan is already underway. What are the next steps to realize the plan? When will you need funding and how much? How are you going to use the funding in the various planning phases? Illustrate with graphics and charts.

11 Summary What are the 3 things you want the audience to remember about your presentation?
