3 Euronetlang project The euronetlang project aimed at developing a a thematic network between european municipalities; Common interest of the involved municipalities: presence of a minority languages in their territory ; Same interest european networkeuropean dimension european integration The objective is to start up an exchange network ( experiences, best practices, cultural/historical information) to promote minority languages in the Ue ( United in diversity)

6 Euronetlang - objectives To promote a friendly environment and new friendship To make beneficiaries aware about the cultural social value of minorities languages in EU To strenghten EU cooperation To identify new methodologies able to preserve/promote minority languages To promote exchange of experiences and good practices To foster active citizenship

7 Euronetlang -Activities 4 events in the involved countries: 1 event: Orosei 26-29 october 2012 Language and culture 2 event: Shkodra 6-9 maggio 2013 European policies and legislation at a local and national level Activities: - Conference - Worshop - Project planning workshop - laboratories

8 Euronetlang- target groups Municipalities ( local administrators and officer) Citizens Local associations Older peoples associations
