1 1. Read Matthew 10:3 What do we know about Levi’s name? He also had the name Matthew. 2. Unscramble the words. Complete the puzzle. Levi was the son of Alphaeus. He was a tax collector. As the crowd of people followed Jesus, he approached the tax booth and spoke to Levi, who also was named Matthew.

2 Key Point: What wonderful invitation did Jesus give to a sinful tax collector? Jesus called Levi to follow him and become his disciples. Circle the seven phrases that tell how you are like Matthew. A sinner, loved by Jesus, became a follower of Jesus, forgiven by Jesus, happy to follow Jesus, eager to obey Jesus, glad to tell about Jesus.

And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For the kingdom, and the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen
