High Energy Firearms From April 2008, new rules apply with regard to firearms whose muzzle energy exceeds 4,500J Such firearms must be zeroed on the day they are to be used and the special zero target must be signed by a qualified RCO(HME) If necessary the RCO (HME) may require proof of the muzzle energy for that firearm

4. Booking Ranges NRA Members may book ranges for am/pm weekdays or at weekends Phone, e-mail, or fax the Range Office (at least before the Wednesday before the proposed shoot for weekends)

5. The Range Office On arrival: Check the target to be fired on (notice board outside at weekends) In the Range Office: Fill in the correct Certificate sheet Check target allocation Check for radio Pay for target (and marker)

7. After Shooting After the shoot: –Return the radio –Sign the correct Certificate sheet –Complete your online attendance card Go to Club bar and explain why you did (or did not) get an impressive score

8. OnLine Attendance Card Step 1: The Welcome Page. Enter your NRA membership number in the box on the screen (A) then click on the Confirm button (B). If you make a mistake or have any problems click the Cancel button.

9. OnLine Attendance Card Step 2: First Time User Page. The first time you use the database you will be asked to set your own P.I.N.. Please enter a FOUR (4) digit number in the first box (A), then click in the second box (B) and re-enter your 4 digit P.I.N.. When you are finished click the Confirm button (C). If you have problems entering your P.I.N. click the Clear button to start again. If this is not your membership number or you do not wish to continue, click the Cancel button to return to the Welcome Page.

10. OnLine Attendance Card Step 3: P.I.N. Entry Page. Once you have a P.I.N. set up you will be directed to the P.I.N. Entry Page from the Welcome Page. Enter your P.I.N. in the box (A), then click on the Confirm button (B). Clicking on the Cancel button will take you back to the Welcome Page.

11. OnLine Attendance Card Step 3: Shooting Record Page The details of your firearms are shown on the left of the screen. If you need to add to or amend this list, please fill in a changes sheet and give it to a member of the Range Office staff. Today’s date is automatically entered for you. It is not possible to record activities for any other date. To record your activity, select the number of the firearm used from the drop down list. Then click on the Activity box and select the type of activity from the list. To add another entry click the Add Activity button. When you are finished click the Done button to return to the Welcome Page.
