3 What is Request Tracker Is a ticket tracking system written in Perl used to coordinate tasks and manage requests among a community of users. First released in 1996 by Jesse Vincent. It has multiple interfaces when dealing with trouble tickets. Web Interface- for logged in users as well as guest users. Email Interface- Emails are stored as correspondence on a ticket and the software makes the distinction between public and private comments.
