Observations: (Record your observations of the reaction when hydrogen peroxide is added to raw liver puree.) Problem Statement: How does temperature affect the speed of an enzyme-catalyzed reaction? Hypothesis: If the temperature of the hydrogen peroxide is increased, then the reaction will (increase, decrease or stay the same) because (your reason). Variables: (What are the manipulated, responding and controlled variables?)

Procedures: Use a graduated cylinder to put 25ml of hydrogen peroxide into a 50ml beaker. Using tweezers, dip a filter paper disk into the liver puree. Using tweezers, place the wet filter paper disk at the bottom of the 50ml beaker (with room temperature hydrogen peroxide). Measure and record how many seconds it take to float to the top of the liquid. Repeat the Steps #1-4 for cold and hot liquids.
