4. One day, a boy named Chance fell asleep in class. He started to dream about a scary monster…. pg. 3

12. Author’s Biography Thomas King started writing when he was only in Grade 1. Of course, he didn’t write professionally, but he enjoyed writing stories anyway. Ever since then, he had a strong passion for writing. Thomas King is only 12 and lives in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, with his brothers, Daniel and Samuel, and his two sisters, Judilee and Marina. He loves to read and play with his dog, Totoro. pg. 11
