6 Mass The amount of matter in an object Weight is the measure of the pull of gravity on that mass Basic unit is grams 1 kilogram is 1000 grams 1 gram is 1000 milligrams

7 volume The amount of space an object occupies The basic unit is 1 liter 1000 milliters = 1 liter

8 Temperature Measured in degrees Celsius ( O C) 0 O C = freezing point of water 100 O C = boiling point of water Normal body temperature = 37 O C
