3. 3 Introduction Purpose of Enhancement The loan note is used to record some information that is relevant to the current loan and should be recalled when the loan is returned. Currently, when returning a loaned item, the 'Loan Note' can be viewed in 'Item Info' tab which make it difficult to notice.

4. 4 Introduction Description: Aleph is enhanced to display the 'loan note' as a pop-up message as part of the 'return item' workflow.
