Greek doctors like Galen went to Rome – kept ideas going like the 4 Humours… 3b) Must focus on HELP and not give examples of how the Church hindered! Possible examples = Role of monasteries, preserving Greek and Roman writings – e.g. Galen’s books 4b) You must be careful with the dates here. Possible examples = Pasteur vs Koch, Blood groups, Nightingale and Seacole improving standards in nursing
