The slide shows an extruded cube. Notice the shorten Graphics Cursor (shorten for clarity) and the drawing display is in Isometric. The Cube appears as if it were made of glass being able to see through the cube to sharp edges representing the edges of the cube.

Selecting an Icon from the VISUAL STLYES Toolbar will change the look of the cube in a different way.

Selecting 3D HIDDEN VISUAL STYLE Icon from the VISUAL STYLES TOOL BAR

Selecting the 3D HIDDEN VISUAL STYLE Icon will display the cube as shown. See how the sharp edges have disappeared. Notice also how the UCS Icon has changed to indicate that you have entered into a Shade Mode.

It is suggested NOT to continue to work when in this MODE or any other Visual Style Mode that displays a colorful UCS Icon. Instead, select the first of the icons on the Visual Style Toolbar to return to a normal UCS Display.

Lets now demonstrate another examples of selecting Drawing Display Modes using the cube by first changing its color and then displaying the cube in several VISUAL STYLE MODES

Use the ESC Key on the keyboard to de-select the object after it changes color. The cursor size is being shown 100% for this slide.

The Cursor size will be made smaller by selecting from the Menu Bar the TOOLS pull-down menu and then OPTIONS which will display the OPTIONS DIALOG BOX The next slide will demonstrate the steps.
