2 Structural Engineering  Structural Engineering, which is like architectural engineering but is more concerned and focused on the aesthetics of buildings and facilities. Structural Engineering would be a specialization for the Civil Engineering because in this field. They work on the structure and design of the construction of facilities which would be the same as under the Structural Engineering field.

3 What Structural Engineers Do  Structural Engineers work closely with construction sectors and play a key role in the development of a community. Other duties that are associated with Structural Engineers is doing inspections on the different structures that are established by other junior engineers and employees. There are different roles involving a structural engineer including the role as a manager, a performer, and a researcher. They work together in order to make a product that's safe and efficient for the purposes it'll serve in the community.

4 Why a Structural Engineer is Important  Without Structural Engineers, the things that were constructed for the community wouldn’t look so appealing to even attract people to the product.

5 Why I Want to be a Structural Engineer  I want to become a Structural Engineer because I have always been attracted to the beautiful things in life. I would love to design stuff that could be applied to buildings and other facilities in the community. Also, the thought of seeing people admiring my work which could draw more people to using the facility would be great and honorable.  I’m skilled at drawing and doing some types of designs. So, why not cooperate with an architectural engineer to make a safe yet gorgeous product?

6 Requirements  It requires a bachelor degree of 0-2 years or direct experience. Some jobs want you to have two to five years of work-related experience in order to become a structural engineer. The highest of Structural Engineers could require 6-8 years of direct experience along with a degree.

7 Salary  The average salary is $64, 656 to $83,000 a year.  The salary varies to the level that the structural engineer is since the higher the level, the more difficult and significant work they make for the community compared to those of a lower level.
