2 90 Days of WINs What’s Important Now for Relay Online So your RFL event is 60 or 30 days away… what’s your Relay Online plan? During the 60 or 30 Days Pre-Event… Website Customization…create a Relay buzz! Update Sponsor Line 1 with a ‘Relay is Coming!’ announcement to appear on the Greeting Page and in the dashboard Update/Add newsfeeds to appear in the Dashboard with relevant and important event information and announcementsnewsfeeds Update the More Event Information page Add Announcements Upcoming Important Dates Ceremony Times Update the Fundraisers and Activities page to list team fundraisers and upcoming event activities, link to any event flyers as appropriate! Delete any outdated information Social Media Post meeting dates/times/locations Share the event goals (dollars/teams/participants), ask your fans to help you meet (or exceed) those goals! Promote Team and event-wide fundraisers Ask fundraising questions of your fans… What’s your fundraising goal this year? How are you raising money? How are you using the website to fundraise? Always link back to the website!

3 90 Days of WINs During the 60 or 30 Days Pre-Event (continued)… Email Communication Make sure you are following your email timeline – whether using the centralized emails or scheduling your own – all Recruitment and Engagement emails should be sent in a timely manner Make sure each email you send includes a direct link back to your Relay website Emails that should be sent within the 60 days leading up to your event: Additional emails that should be sent leading up to the event, to supplement the core coaching messages: EC Misc Email 01 (MISC01) – To ONLINE participants who have raised $0 EC Misc Email 04 (MISC04) – Team Captain Meeting EC Misc Email 06 (MISC06) – T-Shirt Deadline Reminder PLUS the new Team Captain Email Campaign!Team Captain Email Campaign

During the 30 Days Post-Event… Website Customization Update Sponsor Line 1 with a ‘THANK YOU’ message to appear on the Greeting Page and in the dashboard, include total amount raised Update/Add newsfeeds to appear in the Dashboard with post-event information and ‘thank you’ announcementsnewsfeeds Update the More Event Information Give a shout out to top teams and participants Wrap-up Meeting Dates Deadlines to turn in donations Update the Photos and Videos page with pictures and videos from the event Delete any outdated information Social Media Share the final event numbers (dollars/teams/participants), thank your fans for their support Encourage post-event fundraising.
