4. Angela Merici  Was born march 21 st, 1474 in Desanzano del Garda, Italy  Began the company of Saint Ursla in 1535  The Company of Ursla was an order of women that helped teach girls.  It was a group of virgins with a centralized government

5. Jane of Chantel & Francis of Sales  Jane was born Jan 23 rd, 1572 in Dijon, France  Francis was born August 21 st, 1567 in Thorens-Glières, France  Francis and Jane worked together to create the visitation of Mary  Visitation of Mary trained women to become teachers

6. Teresa of Avila  Born March 28 th, 1515 in Gotarrendura, Spain  Became a nun  Reformed the Carmelite Order  The Carmelite Order was an order that was founded by the prophets Elias and Eliseus
