2 Who We Are Our Mission The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino empowers all individuals and families in need to achieve an enriched quality of life by providing housing opportunities and resources throughout San Bernardino County. Our Vision The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino is committed to creating a world in which all people have a stable and enriched quality of life.

3 Who We Are We provide permanent affordable housing to approximately 32,000 individuals - primarily low income individuals and families Currently 53,000 applicant households on our housing programs waiting lists Primary housing programs include: Housing Choice Voucher Subsidized Programs 8,250 Public Housing Program: 1,226 Authority Owned: 1,361

Shelter Plus Care/ Tenant Based Rental Assistance: 365 Households Housing Opportunities for Persons With Aids: 42 Households Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing: 357 Households

Why we did it: Senator Feinstein and HACSB Board Support Point in Time Count How we did it: Pilot Program in Public Housing School District Partnership Full details on the accessing applications page I just showed you all… PH, HCV, PBV, Seniors, VETS Preference Also agency conducts sex offender and criminal background checks on all family members 18 years of age or older.
