11 TOM TORLAKSON State Superintendent of Public Instruction AEFLA Network Meeting January 2016 Description The EL Civics Additional Assessment Detail Report provides an itemized account of agencies’ EL Civics payment points, listing all EL Civics specific outcomes for each student enrolled in an EL Civics designated class. Each Additional Assessment (COAAP), Citizenship Interview Test and Government and History Test taken is listed. This EL Civics Detail report shows drop reasons for EL Civics students with potential payment points (incomplete outcome datasets.) Audience  Administrators  Data Management staff  Teachers Reporting Level  Agency  Site  Class Special Option s  Option to select specific drop reasons to ignore on the report. For example, if you are running the report in the beginning of the year, you may want to select items such as fewer than 12 hours, no post-test, etc., to not show on your report. 13 TOM TORLAKSON State Superintendent of Public Instruction Description The Student Gains Report shows students who qualify for California payment points, lists each student’s test results, and identifies the tests that serve as the pre- and post-test for payment points purposes. The report also displays preliminary information about NRS level placement and specific payment points earned (such as Complete a Level/Advance a Level) based on these test results, as well as any drop reasons (such as missing gender or less than 12 hours of instruction) that may prevent the student from earning any payment points. E-mail with instructions and link to the recertification interviews will be sent to all CIT administrators the first week of January.
