10 Main challenges 1 zFor a census to be successful every phase has to work well zWe need to work hard at understanding users’ needs and maintaining close liaison zNavigating census results through online search facilities very important zUsers may link to census via other sites

11 Main challenges 2 zNeed for members states to make EU info available as speedily as possible zEurostat should invest in user friendly front end zUse of mapping products to enhance census outputs an area for development zMeeting users’ needs while maintaining confidentiality of individual data
