2 Prenatal Testing Forms of Testing:  Blood Test  Rh Factor Testing  Chronic Villus Sampling  Amniocentesis  Cordocentesis  Maternal Serum Alpha-Febtoprotein Screening (MSAFP)

3 What testing is for Prenatal testing is testing for diseases or conditions in a fetus or embryo before it is born. The aim is to detect birth defects such as neural tube defects, Down syndrome, chromosome abnormalities, genetic diseases and other conditions. It can also be used to determine the sex of the unborn baby.

4 Problem with testing  Miscarriage risk  False-Negative and False-Positive results  Decision to terminate pregnancy Even though technology is improving, the option to know everything about your unborn baby may not be a good thing.
