3 3 Disabil IT y The main idea was to optimise the chances of disabled people on the open labour market with intensive use of modern information technologies 3 modules with increasing level of difficulty Different kind of methologies – psycho- motorical approach As a result of testing module A the project group adjusted more easily and developed strong group spirit

4 4 Rehabilitation programme inspired by module A Psycho-social group rehabilitation programme = Social skill exercises + psycho-motorical approach

5 5 Structure of the session 2 academic hours once a week 2 specialists conducting the lesson Discussions (feelings, relationships, topics related to human nature) Understanding/explaining instructions Exercises and physical activities

6 6 Example of first lesson Goals: to create a positive first impression of each other Specialists can specify rehabilitation needs Learning about body language, non-verbal signs, adjust to limited communication Run of the lesson: Specialists introduce themselves and the programme Students introduce themselves (names, where are they from, friends, likes/dislikes etc) Discussion about the feelings and possible difficulties and discomfort while introducing itself

7 7 Example of first lesson Run of the lesson: Drawing your own tree Exhibition of the trees Reflection – what kind of tree, where does it grow (certain or imaginary), memories related to it, was it easy or difficult to draw etc For a psychologist the drawing has a diagnostic value Non-verbal lining up by birthday and age. Hockey

8 8 Example of second lesson Goals: To evaluate the group members by your experiences and impressions so far, to notice each other characteristical features, feedback from others about yourself To stimulate contacts and interaction in the group To support self-assessment process Perception of body language, intuition, behavioural signs

9 9 Example of second lesson Run of the lesson: Discussion about characteristical features, temper and nature Game “Stealing the sticky tape” Discussion about each others positive characteristic Discussion about tactics and strategy Game “Bodyguard” Discussion

10 10 Challenges to students Courage to express your thoughts Understanding instruction Explaining instructions to group members who don´t understand Asking for instructions Division of function within the group Cooperation Strategy planning Decision making

11 11 Results The programme has positive impact on students teamwork skills and team spirit communication skills creativity programme support students acclimatization process It also enables many sided personal development: ability of self-analyse, critical thinking

12 12 Impact on specialists work The sessions enable different specialists at the same time to get overview of students´ strengths and weaknesses Students´ potential and problems open to specialists faster and in different angles
