2 South porcupines protect itself by stabbing it’s predators. They have a fat fur that protect itself by sticking it’s points in them.They also have a thick fur that protects it’s body. Protection

3 Habitat Porcupines live in hot places because they like hiding in big green leaves. They also live in Africa and North America.

4 Diet Porcupines drink it’s mothers milk for 4 months. In the winter they eat inner bark on trees.they Like salt and salty things. In fact they eat a variety of trees.they eat Lily pads,rose bushes and car tiers.

5 Description Porcupines are dull and spiky. Young porcupines are darker than adults. The male porcupines have big and chunky noses. Porcupines have orange and white teeth.

6 Fact At birth the large (500g)young porcupines has long thick black hair and short soft spines. The weight is 12-15 kilograms (9.9lb)for females.Porcupines sight is very poor.The north American porcupines are active all year.
