3 Introductio n During the Big Book Literacy Center, students will;  determine the frequency of a predetermined word(s) on an index card(s).  use their selected special word in a sentence.  indicate their favorite page in the big book story by writing their name on a post-it and sticking it on that page.  complete the included template Main goals of the Webquest are to;  enhance student word recognition skills  encourage collaborative work environments  foster mutual respect for self, others, and school materials  practice following directions  reinforce appropriate communication skills (Ready to move on? Click the blue circle. Select next title from “Index” slide.)

4 a. Look at the “Process” slide.Process b. Complete numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on the “Process” slide. c. Highlight each step on the “Process” slide after it is complete. d. For number 5, open the pencil and print the paper. Task

9 Teacher Page My name is Carrie Jo Snyder and this WebQuest was created for my kindergarten class. On a daily basis we work towards completing specific tasks and accomplishing individualized goals during literacy center time. Not only do we work on academic fundamentals, but we also have an opportunity to further establish our social skills through collaborative work environments.
