3 Involve all the partners from the beginning of the project ‐Must be active = no sleeping partners - Not only the coordinator’s perspective - Include administrative staffs (in all partner institutions) Your proposal must fit with the objectives and priorities of the E+ programme and Erasmus Mundus action: mobility, employability, attractiveness of European Higher education, internationalisation… Be clear, concise and coherent when you write the proposal

4 Award Criterion 1: relevance of the project (40%) Describe how you have think and design your project in common = integrated approach at pedagogical and organisational level Jointness is THE particularity of an Erasmus Mundus Master courses ! Identify the needs analysis -connected with the labour market = employability -Based on statistics, regulations, studies Emphasize the added value of your master courses compared to the others: thematic, pedagogical innovation, academic excellence, attractiveness of European Higher Education.. Ensure the recognition/ accreditation of diplomas joint curricula doesn’t necessarily mean joint diploma (even if recommended) Show that your master contributes to partners and European higher Education internationalisation

5 Award Criterion 2: Quality of project design and implementation (20%) Build an integrated curricula with coherent mobility scheme for students Not a single model : you can be creative (but realistic) Provide clear information and appropriate services to students : visa issue, accommodation, socio-cultural activities, language courses..etc will contribute to the attractiveness of your master Emphasize the cooperation with the non - academic world = contribution to the course design, evaluation of the project, financial issue… must be effective (no declaration of intent) Establish strategy and tools for monitoring your project (internal and external evaluation) -involve all stakeholders (including students) - will help you to improve the quality of your master

6 Award Criterion 3: quality of project team and cooperation arrangements (20%) Underline the expertise of the team and the complementarity of the consortium - academic and administrative expertise - added value of non EU or non academic partners Ensure equal distribution of responsibilities and tasks among partners Should be effective at the application stage and formalize in a consortium agreement Define a common application, selection and evaluation criteria for students Must be transparent Establish a common and single participation fees ( = registration fees, insurance, language courses…) whatever the consortium partnership and student’s paths not easy ! Describe the International experience of partners : management of EU project, research networks…

7 Award Criterion 4: impact and dissemination (20%) Define a concrete sustainability plan = your capacity to continue the project after the EU funding -integrated at all stages of the project and defined in advance -Important role of associated partners Ensure that the project results will be shared with a larger community (at institutional/ national / international levels) Importance of networking activities Ensure that your master will be attractive for students worldwide = Importance of promotion and dissemination activities - Create a strong “master identity” : specific website, powerful logo and acronym, alumni association … - Use different types of communication: leaflet, social networks, media.. - Work with Higher Education promotion agencies: campusfrance, DAAD, Nuffic
