Your theme statements should: –Reflect a life truth (both stories) –Relate to your life (both stories) –Relate to the lives of others –Match the author’s messages in both stories. Does it: –Reflect a life truth (both stories)? –Relate to your life (both stories)? –Relate to the lives of others? –Match the author’s message in the story.
