3 Writer’s Work Time 1.Open the most updated version of your poems stored in Step 3, Submit Your Revised Poems. Select one of your poems that you would like to edit first. 2.Exchange work with a partner to review one another’s poems for grammar and punctuation. 3.Use spelling and grammar check to continue to proof your poems. Refer to DD’s E-Tutorial: Spelling and Grammar Check in the Online Classroom. 4.Think about which words you would like to emphasize in your poems and how you can use grammar and punctuation to do so. 5.Modify your poems visually for emphasis. 6.Revise the titles of your poems. 7.Check your poems against the Poetry Checklist (Handout 1.1b). 8.Resave your poems and submit them to the Online Classroom activity Submit Your Final Poems.
