5. Graduation Gaps Remain The graduation rate for the Black student group remains 5.8 points below the state’s rate. The Students with Disabilities (SWD) group has the lowest graduation percentage at 48.4% compared to the state rate at 59.8%. The Students with Disabilities (SWD) group has the highest gap, trailing the state by 11.4 points.

6. 2011-12 Graduation Audit Process May 2012 Schools receive file of students “missing” from cohort. Early June 2012 Schools review records, “code” students, and return file to Testing. Early June 2012 Testing uploads revised files for verification. June 2012 Testing monitors verification process and processes graduation rate calculations. June 2012 Testing resends new file of students “missing” from cohort. Late June 2012 Testing uploads revised files for verification, monitors, and processes calculations.
