3. Santa Anna is a mean and cruel man. Santa Anna is a Mexican and has his own army. He fought against Spain for independence.Later on Santa Anna lead the battle of the Alamo and Goliad. He made bad decisions because he chose a base by the river and took a nap.

4. San Jacinto was where the Mexicans and Texans met. Santa Anna made bad decisions because him and his army were surrounded by water and took a nap during the battle. After 18 minutes the battle was over the Texans had won. In the end only 9 Texans lost there lives and about 630 Mexicans lay dead.

5. During the battle Santa Anna fled. The next day the Texans found Santa Anna in the woods wearing the uniform of a common soldiers. But when his Mexican army saw him they called out “El Presidente!”Then the Texans knew who he was. VS

6. Once the Texans found Santa Anna in the woods Houston wouldn't let his soldiers kill the Mexican general. Instead, he wanted Santa Anna to give Texans it own freedom. So Santa Anna stayed with the Texas army.
