2 What I know about Eastern Europe by South Dakota Martin Taras, creator of Baby Huey, was of Russian descent. Russia is not in Eastern Europe. Baby Huey was an icon of stupid in the 50's This is where I start - Steve

3 What I know about Eastern Europe by South Dakota A huge chunk of Eastern Europe was part of the Soviet Union, another borders on the Baltic Sea and another on the Black Sea and yet another on the Adriatic Sea. That's probably why the confusion. Lots of mountains, lots of cultures, next to no unity. Hopefully everyone knows a little about Solidarity, Gypsys, the wars of the 1990s.

4 What I know about Eastern Europe by South Dakota which reminds me – “My Name is Kahn” – is a really good movie. Check it out Eastern Europe was Where Genghis Khan conquered into the Ukraine in 1200's and his son continued on to Poland in the mid to late 1200s. Both images are of Genghis Hmmm...

5 What I know about Eastern Europe by South Dakota Eastern Europe is also famous for its secret police. Whenever there is cover-up the moles pop up. And when they're smacked down they pop up again. HOW WOULD YOU REACT TO AN AUTHORITARIAN STATE?

While the West had Mickey Mouse dancing light-heartedly in “Steamboat Willie”, Berthold Bartosch's was creating the first serious, poetic, tragic work of animation “The Idea.” “Men live and die for an idea, But the idea is immortal. You can persecute it, judge it, forbid it, condemn it to death, But the idea continues to live in the minds of men…. He whom it penetrates no longer feels isolated, For above all the idea remains…..” (Opening titles of the film “The Idea”, 1932)
