1 Kronos Information for DU Employees: Submitting a Time Off Request using the Web- based Application

2 Move the My Schedule and Time Off Request work area to the primary work area. Click the gear icon in the My Schedule and Time Off Request header.

3 Choose Pop-out.

4 You can request time off for current and future pay periods. You cannot request time off in the past. If you need to have leave time added to a past pay period, please contact your supervisor. Continue

5 For training purposes, we will request a vacation day. Click the Request Time Off icon.

6 Click the calendar icon to select a Start Date.

7 Use the arrow button to scroll over to September 2015.

8 Choose September 16, 2015.

9 Here, you will choose the request type. Click the drop down arrow under the Pay code.

10 Select Vacation.

11 Here, you will choose the Duration. Click the drop down arrow under Duration.

12 Select Full day.

13 Click Submit.

14 Notice the Vacation Request on the calendar for 9/16/2015. You will receive a notification when your time off request has been approved or refused.

15 To check if this request has been processed, click the Time Off Request box.

16 Choose Details.

17 Here, you can see the details of the time off request and whether it has been approved or refused. The example shows that it has been submitted. Once approved, it will show “Approved”, including the date/time and name of the approver. If the request has been approved, it will show up on your timecard. Click close when you are ready to continue.
