Evaluation 1

This is the time to put together everything to turn in your project. Make sure you fill out your self-evaluation (rubric) on the bottom. Leave the top blank. Gather the following and staple behind the rubric. –Rubric (self-evaluation) –Brainstorm –English Summary –ASL Script –Conference –Vocabulary Venue Afterwards, review your vocabulary words.

Battleship 2

You will be playing Battleship. Split into two teams. Set up, on top, where you would like to place your ships. Afterwards, use the chart to identify which spot you would like to “attack” on your opponent’s side. –EX: If you want to hit A 7, the classifier is CL:B and the description is in the middle of the room ___t BED CL:B-middle of room Continue until you have sunk all of your opponent’s ships. The first to do so wins!

Guess Who 3

Remember what to do with your eyebrows when asking a yes/no question? Split into two teams. Select one card for each team. This is the person the other team is trying to guess. Take turns asking yes/no questions that will lead you to flip characters down until you get to the last one. Now guess who!

Fingerspelling Challenge 4

You will try the fingerspelling challenge. One person will be selected to man the keyboard. Everyone else has a white board and marker. Once the word is fingerspelled, everyone writes it down on the board. The person with the keyboard (who has not seen the word fingerspelled) types in the answer. See how many you can get right!

Classifier Connection 5

Now it’s time to see who knows their classifiers best! Spilt into teams. Each team will “hold” the other team’s tokens. When it is your team’s turn decide where you would like to play. In order to play there, you must sign a sentence with a classifier marked for that slot. –EX: ___t If the slot says CL:B, you say BED CL:B-bunk beds If you sign it correctly, you get your color token from the other team and place it in the slot. The team to connect 4 in a row first, wins.
