6  Bumba- riverboat racing, which was conducted in long, low dugout canoes, each powered by two dozen rowers who achieved great speeds.  Gbadolite- The missionaries who closely followed the first Europeans into the region introduced volleyball.

9 Kananga-Thousands of fires spread across the DRC, leaving lands burnt and left not being able to be used for long periods of time. Tshikapa-Droughts are also very severe in DRC, leaving thousands with no water, and not enough water irrigate the crops.
