2. ProctorU: What is it? ProctorU allows students to take exams from any location provided they have a web cam, microphone, and reliable internet connection. Real, live, proctors monitor the students and their computers to insure they are not doing anything the instructor does not allow. Students have to make appointments with ProctorU to take a test. ProctorU is integrated into Blackboard.

3. Accessing ProctorU In any Blackboard class, scroll down to the CONTROL PANEL and click on COURSE TOOLS to expand that menu

4. Accessing ProctorU Find PROCTOR U INSTRUCTOR TOOLS in the expanded COURSE TOOLS menu, and click on it.

5. Accessing ProctorU This will bring up a new window which looks like the one on the left.
