18. 2015 SHRM VOLUNTEER LEADERS’ SUMMIT State Council/Chapter Incentive Program  State Councils will earn $10 for every SHRM National member in the state who is SHRM certified on December 31, 2015  Chapters will earn $20 for every SHRM National member in the chapter who is SHRM certified on December 31, 2015  Incentive program will continue in 2016  Payments will be made in January 2016 and January 2017 This Incentive Program aligns SHRM and its affiliates, encourages participation in the SHRM certification program, and compensates State Councils/Chapters for any revenue loss associated with decline in recertification activity related to the legacy certifications.
