Highest position and this is the group of director’s position. My father is in this position (Managing Director) Lowest positon from all and it is responsible for the production DTW division

1948: “NAM THAY” was first established at Karet Street, which was a commercial center in Surabaya, East Java 1973: The principal owner, Mr. S.Woentono, changed “NAM THAY” to “HAPETE” and conducted it’s first expansion by building a factory at Kendurus Street. The first location in Karet Street was used as office, while the new location in Kedurus was used as production site. History/ Timeline

1993: HAPETE built a second factory which is much bigger at Margomulyo Indah Street, Surabaya, with greater facilities and supply for production activity and management. The site of this factory is in Margomulyo Industrial Area, the biggest in Surabaya City, Indonesia. It is used as head office of all HAPETE activity as well as it’s management administration and production until now. 1997: Our rope division named HAPETE II was incorporated and Kedurus plant was used as it’s production site History/ Timeline(cont inued)

2003: HAPETE achieved ISO 9001 certificate for Quality Management System and it has been implemented for years until now 2005: HAPETE II was changed to HP ROPE 2006: Our spinning plant, HP SPINTEX, was established in Purwosari, Pasuruan 2010: HP ROPE was relocated to By Pass Krian Km.32, Sidoarjo 2013: HAPETE achieved ISO 22000 certificate for Food Safety Management System 2015: HAPETE achieved FSSC 22000 certificate for Food Safety Management System History/ Timeline (continued)

Close connection with all the staff Make/build good cooperation with all the members Share good experiences with the members Teach them to be professional on their position Relax in working but discipline and focus Teach them to work effectively and efficiency How the director manage the organization

Internally It is hard to control the staffs attitude or action because each staffs have different characteristics and background The production machine is broken/ has a problem Externally Sometimes the staff have problem with their family that could affect his/her work Some staffs are not discipline on their job Some staffs are scared to tell the leader/ director about the problems they face Problems

Hapete Some staffs are not discipline - They didn’t finish their job in time that waste the time they have. The production machine is broken Some staffs are scared to tell the leader about their problem Classroom Some of my group members are not discipline on their work – Some of my friends or my group members didn’t finsih their job in time and sometimes they are not focus The printer is not working or the Wi-Fi connection is down Some of my friends are scared to tell the teacher and sometimes they rather tell me while I’m busy Connection of the problems happened in Hapete and classroom

Connection of the solutions used in HAPETE and classroom HAPETE Personal Approach – When the staff have problems with their family, the director will come to him/ her and talk about it to solve it Close connection – The director have to have a close connection with the other members so when the menber have problem, he/she can help them with bravery CLASSROOM (As the leader) Personal Aproach – When some of my group members have no ideas or they are not sure if their ideas is correct or not, I approach him/her to tell him to give ideas no matter it’s correct or not Close connection between me(the leader) and my group members – My group members have know me well so if they have difficulty on their work they can tell me and I will help him/her to solve it

Internally Give the person training, and give him/her a workshop to master their cooperation attitude and communication skill Externally Give the person chance to not go to work when they have problem in his/her family so he/she can solve the problem easier but NOT TOO OFTEN!
