I. In what ways do we see the Scripture affirming the deity of the Holy Spirit? A. The very name of the Holy Spirit suggests that He is a supernatural being. The third person of the Godhead is “spirit” (John 4:24). 2. The third person of the Godhead is “holy” (Is. 6:3).
