3 3 Laboratoire National Henri Becquerel European Research Projects  Every year since 2008 the EU – through the European Commission and the countries participating within the European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET e.V.) – launches calls for research projects in the general field of metrology: the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP). http://www.emrponline.eu http://www.emrponline.eu  For us, there is a “ionizing radiations” part which includes radioactivity and dosimetry.  Each accepted project is for a three years duration and involve several European laboratories.  We (LNHB, IFIN-HH, NPL, …) are involved in some of them.

5 5 Laboratoire National Henri Becquerel 1) MetroFission, (Metrology for New Generation Nuclear Power Plants), September 2010  September 2013 WorkPackage 5 - Improved nuclear decay data (IRMM, CIEMAT, CEA-LNHB): - Measurement of the alpha-particle emission probabilities of 238 U (IRMM, CIEMAT); - Development of beta spectrometry using cryogenic detectors (CEA-LNHB), measurement of the 241 Pu and 63 Ni beta spectra.
