1. GEWG Presentation (GA) Updates from recent WG activities: GEWG has successfully conducted quarterly meetings as planned ( January, April, July) There has been good attendance of WG members and commitment WG conducted elections of the Chair and Co-Chair (as expected) - (Sustainable Health Enterprises (SHE) and ActionAid) were elected as Chair and Co-Chair) The WG is growing in number and membership Good participation from MINEDUC and UNICEF Volunteering by WG members to host WG meetings (Rotational basis)

2. Key actions/documents worked on  Curriculum Review core team formed to advocate for girls’ issues  Validation of the Girls Education Policy, strategic plan, and girls’ room guidelines under way (commissioned by Girl Hub and led by MINEDUC with consultations with GEWG)

3. Next Quarter WG Activities;  Complete the Policy Validation for the GEP, strategic plan, and girls’ room guidelines  Advocate for prompt enactment of the GEP  Continue to closely follow up on the curriculum review exercise with particular interest in SRHR  Next Meeting TBD – will announce via email  Next year activities to involve field visits.
