APPLICATIONS Using more advanced apparatus emission spectroscopy can be used not only to detect the metal present in a sample but also to find out how much of the metal there is (its concentration). Describe very briefly this technique which is used for example to determine the levels of sodium (and other metals) in blood. Can you find any other applications of this technique?
