5 Class Participation As a seminar, students are expected to not only read the weekly papers provided by faculty members, but also be prepared to discuss, critique, analyze, and understand the papers. Toward the end of ensuring discussion, participation, etc., students will prepare two questions weekly, one from the overview paper and one from the paper reporting the faculty members work, prior to class that are to be asked of the presenter. These questions are to be submitted by the Blackboard system prior to class, by 12:00 noon the day of each presentation. To participate in class it will be necessary to attend class.
