9 Tips from advisors Schedule an appointment at least once a term. Keep all of your advising records in one place. Review your grades and degree audit on DuckWeb each term. Print your class schedule each term.

14 How UO Works Quarter system – fall, winter, spring, and summer Average 4 courses per term (15-17 credits) Total credits – 180 (about 45 courses)

15 ALL International Students Attend full-time Most courses are 4 credits Take at least 12 credits per term Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA (C average)

55 Sunday, January 8 1.12:30pm -- Check in for orientation in the EMU Concourse. 2.Bring your Student Handbook with you (and Transfer Evaluation Report if you have transfer credits). 3.Bring a laptop (or cell phone with internet) if possible. 4.12:45pm -- Go to the Maple Room (EMU) if you have questions. 5.1:30pm -- Attend a MANDATORY advising workshop (Gumwood, EMU)
