2 Methodology IRI gathers chain-wide sales across all RMAs (Retail Market Areas) – Regional Composite Reports reflect multi-outlet retail data. Multi-outlet reporting includes an aggregation of the following channels: grocery, mass, club, drug, dollar and military Average Selling Price (ASP) is not Advertised Retail Price – Average selling price is the average of all prices including coupons, promotional pricing, club/loyalty card deals that are given at the register at the time of purchase Categories: – Avocados – Total Produce: Includes avocados Timeframe: YTD Q1 (January – March) 2015 Retail data provided by IRI / FreshLook Marketing Important Note: IRI / FreshLook Marketing periodically restates retail data, therefore this review cannot be compared or used in conjunction with prior reviews 2

3 West Region: Highlights - YTD Q1 Overview based on the following geography: – The West Region captures the Markets of Denver, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle and West Texas/New Mexico, plus additional cities not captured in those Markets 2015 vs. 2014, avocado dollars grew +12% in West and kept pace with Total U.S. – Category dollars outpaced total produce (+4%) by +8 points – Category volume grew +9% – Category average selling price (ASP) increased +2% to $0.96/unit – Large Hass (4225) avocados drove dollar growth, adding +$3.5MM to the category – Large Hass increased +10% in West, outpacing Total U.S. (+4%) by +6 points West posted the highest dollars and units per store per week – West averaged $206 and 214 units per store per week through Q1 2015 3

5 West: YTD Q1 Avocado Retail Overview 2015 vs. 2014, Category dollars posted double-digit growth rates for two consecutive years – Units were up +9% in 2015 2015 vs. 2014, Category average selling price (ASP) increased +2% to $0.96/unit 5 West Avocado Dollars Grew +12%, While Units Grew +9% (2015 vs. 2014)

6 West vs. Total U.S. - YTD Q1 PLU Comparisons West avocado dollar sales increased +12%, keeping pace with Total U.S. (+12%) – Volume increased +9%, +4 points ahead of Total U.S. Large Hass (4225) avocados drove dollar growth, adding +$3.5MM to the category – Large Hass held the largest dollar share in West and Total U.S. – Large Hass dollars increased +10% in West, outpacing Total U.S. (+4%) by +6 points 6 West Kept Pace With Total U.S. in Dollar Growth Rate

7 West: YTD Q1 Category Per Store Per Week Averages West had the highest dollar velocity, more than double the U.S. average – West averaged $206 per store per week through Q1 2015 West had the highest volume velocity, more than double the U.S. average – West averaged 214 units per store per week through Q1 2015 7 West Posted the Highest Average Dollars and Units Per Store Per Week

8 West: 2013-Q1 through 2015-Q1 Units vs. ASP Retail Units – The peak quarter was 2015-Q1 at 81MM units when ASP was $0.96/unit – The lowest quarter was 2013-Q4 at 53MM units when ASP was at $1.02/unit ASP – Lowest ASP to date occurred during 2013-Q1, $0.83/unit – Highest ASP to date occurred during 2014-Q3 at $1.14/unit 8
