8 SYMPHONY The days go just like that It’s like person- centred care within the team The team are very supportive of one another, we have a laugh but are serious when we need to be It’s more like a family If you have an issue you know that the team will support you and you won’t be brushed off The training helped, we all understand each other She leads by example – calm, understanding, flexible and fair The trust ethos helps – the work- life balance – things like the fruit and veg stall …. I couldn’t believe it when the Chief exec knew our names We’re trusted and given the freedom, scope and autonomy to help people We have mutual respect for each other’s skill sets We are a team, nobody pulls rank, we all fit in together and we respect each other’s roles. You never mind who you’re working with We are trusted to do what’s right for the service and are flexible
