4. Warm-up Game Football Rumours Split into small teams. Each team stands and makes a line. The person at the beginning of the line has to whisper a sentence about football into the ear of the person next to them. (This could be a sentence about their favourite player.) This person then turns and whispers what they heard into the ear of the person next to them. The whisper is passed on until it reaches the person at the end of the line. Then that person has to say out loud what they heard. Is it different from the original sentence?

5. Which Headline Matches this Article? Why? Gareth Bale's Real Madrid struggles continued last night as he was once again booed following the club’s exit from the Champions League. Madrid's exit from the competition sparked a frenzied media reaction in Spain, with one newspaper branding it 'the fiasco of the century'. Bale himself featured on a number of back pages in the UK and Spain as the dejected Welshman once again became a focal point for Real's troubles. In pairs discuss: 1. You will be asked 10 questions about the articles so make sure you read the first few lines very closely indeed!
