2 Page 2 About Our Schools Catlettsburg ‘s mission statement, “Csatlettsburg Elementary faculty and staff, along with parents and member of our community believe: Reaching Every Student’s Potential Everyday Creates Tomorrow’s Successes. Catlettsburg Elementary is located in Boyd County, Catlettsburg, KY Enrollment average is approximately 250 with roughly 50% Free/Reduced Lunch Summit’s mission statement, "The path for students to realize their dreams begins at Summit Elementary School where the faculty and parents working together educate the whole child – socially, emotionally, and academically.“ Summit Elementary is located in Boyd County, Ashland, KY Enrollments average is approximately 500 with roughly 40% Free/Reduced Lunch

5 Page 5 Our Ingredients 2009, Catlettsburg and Summit Elementary teamed up to “share” media specialist, Mrs. Cole 2010, A revised alternating week schedule was developed and implemented 2011, First collaborative lesson based on The Leader in Me Program and Information Literacy 2012, Development of additional collaborative lessons to include art lessons
