Today….  Using the “Rule of Three” we begin writing the sentences that will go in the middle of your paragraphs.  Each paragraph should begin with main idea. Have THREE supporting details or pieces of evidence and end with a concluding paragraph.  The Rule of Three

 Writing a paragraph using the Rule of Three – group practice  I’ll model using the Rule of Three using notecards from my friend ________.

 You’ll need a white board, a marker, and eraser.  Using notecards from my friend ______, let’s try on together.

 Use your own notecards to construct Rule of Three paragraphs for the body of your paper.  Write the paragraphs in your yellow legal pads.

 A thought provoking question  A little “sip” of the conclusion  A funny story to set the tone  Author’s point of view  A list of main points to introduce a topic in a serious or logical manner  A dramatic statement  An expert question What strategy do you think is best for a research paper?

 Skateboarding is not the safest sport you can ever play. Guess I learned that the hard way! According to statistics, nearly 100,000 skaters each year require treatment due to skateboard related injuries that is why it is a must to wear safety gears and apparels like those being sold at skateamerica.com. I’ll be going there just as soon as I’m done with my research paper.

“I consider skateboarding an art form, a lifestyle and a sport.” Tony Hawk Tony Hawk

 If you're wondering what is the most common body part that is affected by skate related injuries the answer is your wrist not your heels or legs. I wasn’t planning for any injuries when I headed out the door with my favorite Zero board.

 Skateboarding is defined as the act of riding a skateboard while performing tricks and stunts. A skateboarder or skater is the person who rides or plays this sport. Skateboarding is popular in the whole wide world but majority of them in is America especially to the state of California where it originally rooted. In terms of total participants, skateboarding is tagged as the sixth most popular sport not just in America or Canada but to the whole wide world as well. Skateboarding skateboard
