1 Low Port 2014 Residential Outdoor Programme for P5

2  Date of P5 residential week Monday 22 nd - Friday 26 th September 2014  Format of the week (Monday – Wednesday or Wednesday - Friday)  Total cost £95.00 (payable in instalments) This includes accommodation, meals, Low Port staff led specialist activities and transport

3  Accommodation Bedrooms – most are twin with en-suite, a few larger rooms, across three floors Adult per floor All bedrooms are secure – not accessible to the public Other – GP room, drying room, equipment store, large gym hall (if it’s not in use or if the weather isn’t with us!)  Meals Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner and supper Sandwich fillings and drinks are ordered in advance Pupils require their own packed lunch for the first day Dietary requirements must be noted on EE2 forms  Medicine Medication must be recorded on EE2 and will be administered as required. All medication (apart from inhalers) will be collected prior to departure

4  Types of activities on offer Palace tour, sailing, jungle assault, orientreeing, swimming, loch walk, Highland games, disco!  Safety Trained Low Port staff lead some activities – jungle assault, sailing  Friendships and groupings Children are asked about a friend they would want to be with at Low Port (room lists are shared once there) Groups tend to be arranged by floor with adult Get together for breaks, lunch and dinner plus evening activities are led by school staff as whole group

5  Clothes – a kit list will be issued at the start of the new school year Old clothes, warm layers, wellies, swimming kit + towel Disco clothes! Waterproofs if you have them, Low Port kit is given for certain activities  Spending money No spending money is required  Mobiles/PSP, Nintendo etc Not required and are not allowed to be taken Food and drink are not permitted in rooms

6 Payment Dates Non-refundable deposit - £35 by 14 th February Second payment - £30 by 28 th March Final Payment – £30 by 30 th May
