3.  A good way to be involved; can be intramural or intermural (traveling included)  Continue participating in an activity you enjoy

4.  No need to apply for NCAA eligibility  Do not offer athletic scholarships

5.  Students must register at the NCAA Eligibility Center- no deadline but we recommend students register during their junior year  Will need to send transcript and SAT/ACT scores  Students must complete a certain number of core classes to be eligible.  Scholarships and final eligibility cannot be assigned until student is cleared through NCAA

7.  Laws that protect elementary, secondary and postsecondary students from discrimination  Somewhat different at the postsecondary level- they are not governed by FAPE  They are required to provide adjustments as necessary as to not discriminate on the basis of disability.  Different schools require different documentation such as diagnosis, copies of current IEP or 504 plans

8.  Most postsecondary schools have an office for Students with Disabilities  Office of Admissions can point you in the right direction for getting possible supports
