5 Components Defense policy maintain Deterrence make strong Defense Deterrence: to stop enemy from taking military action against country. Deterrence works on the enemy’s intentions. Defense reduces the enemy’s capability to damage.

11 Strategy & Tactics Strategy is the science and art of employing all of the resources of a nation, or a coalition to achieve the specific objectives of war. Tactics concern those plans and actions designed to win particular battel.
