5. 802.16h PAR Extension The 802.16h PAR extension was approved last session The PAR extension request was added to the December NesCom agenda Still needs the approval of the IEEE 802 EC in this session –The PAR extension form has been updated (IEEE 802.16h-09/0021r5 Changes made to the ‘Why is an extension required ?’ field and to the Estimation of the SB closing date

P802.16h PAR Extension PAR Expiration date: 2009-12-31 Details –Extension: 1 year –Why is the extension required: The P802.16h Sponsor Ballot is well underway and it is projected that the Standards Board approval will be requested as early as January 2009. An extension is requested to guarantee the project completion. –When do you estimate that the final IEEE Sponsor ballot will be completed?: 15-Jannuary 2010
