2  A goal can be defined as a desired result or purpose toward which one is working  What are some of your goals. Please come up to the board and write them down.

3  Complete a job interest survey to determine how your own skills and interests math requirements of a health career  Look for job shadowing opportunities in a health career that interests you.  Better time management  Complete assignments on time and achieve a high grade point average.  Look into at least three colleges or that offer a health career of interest  Change a poor health habit.

4  State goals in a positive manner  Define goals clearly and precisely  Set time limits for those goals  Prioritize goals  What goals are most important to you. (complete those goals first)  Write goals down  This makes a goal seem real and attainable  Make sure each goal is at the right level.  Know your limitations  Goals should be challenging but not impossible

5  Create a set of goals that you would like to accomplish this 9 weeks. (Three goals)  Create a set of goals that you would like to accomplish this year. (6 goals)  Develop a plan of attack for your goals  Write in your journals once a week on the success or failure towards reaching a goal.  Explain why goal setting is important for personal and professional growth.  Assignment is worth 30 points. Spelling and grammar will not count against your grade.
